Her work has been shown in major local exhibitions, including at the Manx Museum, and she has received recognition such as the UNESCO Biosphere Isle of Man Art Prize for her installation The Teacher’s Janet Corran is a Manx artist based on the Isle of Man with a BA in Fine Art (Hons), known for her curious, experimental approach and her love of materials, memory and meaning. Working across painting, sculpture, ceramics and found objects, Janet’s practice blends playful making with deeper reflection, often drawing on personal history and island influences.
