Lisa Lennon

Lisa grew up on the Isle of Man surrounded by nature, folklore and all the strange little stories that come with living on an island. That mix of landscape and imagination has shaped her work ever since. Her paintings are contemporary but they don't feel modern in a cold way. There's warmth in them, and a sense of something ancient just beneath the surface. Celtic mythology, local legends, the feeling of standing on a cliff edge at dusk - it all finds its way onto the canvas.
